In early May, Google announced the development of a new feature that will allow users to view three-dimensional images of search results. Since May 31, this feature has become available for users of Android- and iPhone-based phones with ARCore support.
It’s AR of the tiger!
If you’ve got an AR-enabled phone, you can now bring select animals right into your space for a safari (or safe snuggle) with Search. pic.twitter.com/kWpudETgeq

With the help of AR, the user will be able to move various animals, such as a bear, leopard, wolf, snake, horse, deer, turtle, cheetah, eagle into “personal space”.
To do this, you need to perform a search in Google of one of the animals, and click “View in 3D”.
Not all devices support the new search feature. According to AndroidAuthority, it was possible to revive the animal using Google Pixel 3. However, this function did not work on OnePlus 7 Pro and Google Pixel 2 XL.
Google is positioning this technology as a convenient tool for brands. For example, the purchase of sneakers.
“So whether you’re studying human anatomy in school or shopping for a pair of sneakers, you’ll be able to interact with 3D models and put them into the real world, right from Search,” the company’s blog says.
At the moment, the technology giant is working with such companies as NASA, New Balance, Samsung, Target, Visible Body, Volvo, and Wayfair.
