Coinbase’s Visa Debit Cards Are Available At 6 European Countries

One of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, Coinbase, has recently announced that it has launched its Visa debit cards in six countries in Europe.

From now on, Visa cardholders in countries like Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and Ireland will be able to synchronize its cards to the account on the Coinbase platform. Moreover, users of mobile applications on iOS or Android as well as users of physical cards can withdraw fiat money from automatic teller machines.

Interestingly, users are allowed to spend crypto at stores and shops where Visa is accepted. They can even choose the currency they want to make a payment with. The CEO of Coinbase, Zeeshan Feroz, said:

“You can buy groceries on Bitcoin (BTC) and then coffee on Litecoin (LTC) right after.”

These cards were issued by Paysafe Financial Services Limited, which is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
