Goldman Sachs-backed firm has recently dismissed about 10% of its staff, what exactly caused the app’s closing down. The changes will take effect slowly so that all the users have a chance to transfer or withdraw assets.

The service phases out the support for making payments until July 8. Then, users will see the reduction of functions previously available in the app, and on September 30, the company will fully deprecate all the support for Circle Pay

The post on the official website says:

“All Circle Pay customers should cash out their funds today. Customers who currently hold Bitcoin in Circle Pay are also encouraged to send BTC funds to another wallet such as a Poloniex account.”
