Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group plans to create a system that will allow international brands to interact directly with Internet courts. To implement the new system, the company uses a blockchain-based platform that will protect intellectual rights. This is reported by Sohu.
Alibaba intends to complete the integration by September 2019. The next step is digital protection of copyright, including illustrated content.
This new system will complement the existing solutions in this field in China. Today, there are three Internet courts in China: in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Guangzhou.
The Chinese giant has always been an active supporter of blockchain technology. Last year, its subsidiary that provides mobile payment services, Ant Financial, attracted $14 billion investment for the development of blockchain innovations.
