A Survey Shows that Businessmen of a Senior Generation Need Be Educated on Blockchain

According to the report of Cointelegraph, a survey conducted among the institutional investor of various sphere showed that more than a half of respondents (63% to be accurate) are sure that senior businessmen and executives lack understanding and have insufficient knowledge on the blockchain technology.

The study was held by the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) with the help of the company PollRight.

71 institutional investors took part in the poll, the results of which go as follows:

  • 63% think that the older generation of executives is not educated on the potential of the blockchain technology well enough;
  • 30% think that senior businessmen have an average level of knowledge when it comes to blockchain;
  • 7% have more faith in older generation. These respondents described their understanding of blockchain as good.

The other statistical data shows that 76% of the poll participants are sure that senior management of large companies does not quite trust blockchain and does not use its potential to the fullest.

Also, 33% are sure that the use of the blockchain technology will increase drastically in the financial sector this year.
