Xiaomi will no Longer Support Redmi Smartphones

Xiaomi has announced its intention to release the new MIUI 11 firmware for Mi and Redmi smartphones, which will be available for more than 40 models. But, unfortunately, not all smartphone models will be able to upgrade to the new version.

On the list of devices that will not “try on” the new MIUI 11 firmware are Redmi Note 4 (MediaTek), Redmi 3S, Redmi 3X, Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Pro.

The main reason why these devices can no longer be supported by the manufacturer of smartphones has become outdated stuffing, which is simply not able to support all the features of the new firmware.

Despite the impossibility of implementing this patch, Redmi Note 4 smartphones with Qualcomm software will continue to work on a separate update, the release dates of which also fall at the end of the year. The rest of the above-mentioned models will be faced with a lack of software updates, which will also apply to Google’s security patches.

The company recommends that anyone who has previously used these smartphone models switch to a stable version of the software, which will add confidence in the security and stability of mobile gadgets.
