An American economist Nouriel Roubini known for his not so tender feelings towards cryptocurrency has made a couple of really harsh comments about the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, and the whole concept of decentralization.
Decentralization in crypto is a myth. It is a system more centralized than North Korea: miners are centralized, exchanges are centralized, developers are centralized dictators (Buterin is "dictator for life" ) & the Gini inequality coefficient of bitcoin is worse than North Korea

Though the comparison with North Korea and the title of a dictator could be considered pretty insulting, Buterin responded calmly. He claimed that Roubini’s ideas were not very fair, Ethereum’s protocol does not have any “technical elite” and not every digital coin is supposed to be 100% decentralized.
Hopefully, this exchange of opinions will not turn into the war between crypto lovers and haters.
