A major American shipping company United Postal Service is planning to integrate the blockchain technology into its sales system. UPS is partnering up with an e-commerce trading company Inxeption in order to create a blockchain system for its business-to-business sales.
The new integration is called Inxeption Zippy, and it was announced on the official site of the United Postal Service.
Inxeption is going to serve as on online catalogue of products. It will help the wholesaling and retailing companies, using the services of UPS, to create sites of their brands online and conduct quick and secure e-commerce transactions.
The e-commerce plaform will provide listing, marketing and sale services to the clients and will back up the products throughout the whole supply chain. Meanwhile, the blockchain technology will ensure the quick and seemless process of transactions and a complete security of all the information on the customers.
“The growth of e-commerce is driving B2B buyers to expect the same fast and convenient shopping experiences that consumers enjoy. Working with Inxeption is another way we’re creating innovative solutions that helps small businesses deliver quality service for their customers and succeed in e-commerce,” said a UPS representative.
