The President Of Kazakhstan Signed A New Law Regulating The Crypto Industry

The head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, has signed the bill “On Amending and Adding to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Regulation of Digital Technologies”. This bill concerns the crypto industry.

Work is started

The Minister of Digital Development Askar Zhumagaliev commented on this event, the necessary by-laws would be approved in the near future. And the new rules will come into force in a few months.

What will be with the crypto industry in Kazakhstan?

The above law equates digital assets with the property. But the issue and circulation of bitcoin in the country are prohibited, with the exception of some cases provided for by applicable law.
