Blockchain has captured interest of many governments all over the world, even the strictest ones. North Korea is known for staying away from most innovative technologies, but even this country decided to take a closer look at blockchain.
According to the South Korean news outlet, North Korea is going to host a blockchain conference. The conference will take place in the city of Pyongyang on the 1st of October and will last 2 days.
It is expected that the conference will be attended by famous blockchain and crypto specialists. They will discuss the future of blockchain and distributed ledger technology, their possible implementation in the country and meet up with major North Korean businessmen.
Hopefully, this conference will be the beginning of a technological upgrade for North Korea.
