Telegram is required to disclose the financial details of the TON project
The New York court ordered Pavel Durov's company to provide full information on the conduct of a token sale for the TON project. According to Finance Magnets, the decision was made by the same judge, who a few days earlier refused the SEC to receive financial information about TON. The court ordered Telegram to comply with this decision until February 26, but confidential information about the participants in the ICO may remain hidden. “Telegram does not even mention the names of countries whose laws can be applied, and does not refer to any specific data privacy laws,” — the SEC responded to this decision. In the fall of 2019, the Securities Commission accused Telegram of violating U.S. laws in an ICO. And recently it became known that the SEC has information that confirms the sale of GRAM tokens after the completion of the official stage of the token sale.
