Russian Hackers Attacked Antidoping Organizations
Representatives of Microsoft found a fairly large-scale attack by Russian hackers aimed at antidoping organizations around the world recently. The company's specialists tracked major attacks on the servers of sports and antidoping organizations. Several attacks were successful, but most could not overcome the server firewalls. Attackers used phishing, malicious software and password spraying. The attack was committed by a group of cybercriminals called Strontium, which was repeatedly connected with the Russian government - the company informed.
