AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 news

Details of new mining graphics cards have leaked online. We are talking about the models Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400, the details of the release date of which were told by the specialists of Enthusiastic Citizen.

In the material published on the Billibili social network, it was said that the new RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 will be based on the unique Navi 24 chip.

The RX 6500 XT will be equipped with 16 Computing Units (CU) and 1024 cores. And the RX 6400 will have a lightweight version of the GPU with 12 CUs and 768 cores. Both of them will have 4 GB of memory each.

This is a small figure, especially for modern video cards. However, experts say this could have a positive effect on the cost of these cards and their availability on the market.

For example, in order to mine Ethereum, the card must have at least 5 GB of memory to store all files. Therefore, these video cards will be more budgetary and will interest miners of other cryptocurrencies.

The new products are powered from the PCI-E slot. They are not demanding on resources and consume less than 75 watts. This means that no external power supply is required to connect them.

The RX 6500 XT will go on sale in January 2022. Perhaps this will happen during CES 2022. And the RX 6400 will be released in March. An upcoming release date has been set because competitors Intel and Nvidia are on the alert and are also releasing their new products at the same time.
