Samsung has announced the release of a new TV called Sero, which can rotate to a vertical design to play video, just as we view content on our smartphones.
Model Sero will be the new trend of 2019 in the line of Samsung TVs. It will be equipped with a 43-inch QLED screen and 4.1-channel audio through its 60w speakers.
Sero’s first sales will take place in Korea, but in the near future, it will also be available on the international market for about $1600.
We should say that the idea of a vertical TV sounds a bit strange. And yet, while Samsung is really producing a line of vertical-screen televisions, other technology companies support this idea, although they produce products in a smaller size. We only have to look at the Portal by Facebook or the Google Home Hub display.
Whether vertical screens will be widely acknowledged remains to be seen. But Samsung is the brand that at least tried to introduce a new trend in modern society.
