Blockchain Technology To Change The Russian Constitution
The world's first transparent elections ensured by blockchain technology will be held in the capital of the Russian Federation this month, the official website of Moscow mayor informs.
How to register?
To receive a digital ballot, residents of the capital will have to register on the portal of public services or directly on the website of the Moscow mayor.
When to vote?
The counting of the ballots will be held between June 25 and 30. Moscow officials claim the anonymity and security of each vote will be provided by blockchain technology:
“There are two encryption keys: one is located at the user, and the second is divided into several parts and is stored by different participants until the end of elections”.
Besides the capital, the blockchain voting will be held in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In addition, people from Karelia, the Krasnodar, and St. Petersburg applied for blockchain voting as well.
