NASA Presented the Most Full View of the Universe

Astronomers have collected a mosaic of 7500 images, creating the most detailed and most complete picture of the universe.

According to NASA, a mosaic called Hubble Legacy Field combines observations from 16 years of research and filming.

“This one image contains the full history of the growth of galaxies in the universe, from their time as ‘infants’ to when they grew into fully fledged ‘adults’. “, Garth Illingworth, a team leader and researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz, says.

The picture shows 265,000 galaxies, some of them stretching up to 500 million years after the Big Bang, when the Universe was still young, and the planets were just beginning to form. Therefore, according to astronomers, the new mosaic may be useful to anyone who wants to understand the process of the development of the Universe better.

So, the mosaic shows the process of changing and turning galaxies into giant galaxies. Such studies allow astronomers to track the transformation of the universe, and to identify the conditions that led to the emergence of life on Earth.

Astronomers claim that no other image will surpass the new image of the Universe, at least until the appearance of innovative devices, such as the The James Webb Space Telescope.
