Luno 앱이 암호 화폐 관련 광고를 변경하도록 강요
The British organisation that controls advertisements in the country (ASA) has called on the management of the digital currency app Luno to change the ads that it previously placed throughout London.
Residents of the British capital began to encounter advertisements for investment offers in the main cryptocurrency on the market in February this year. Then ads were placed on buses and in the metro. At the same time, in the case of advertising in the subway, the phrase was used: “If you're seeing bitcoin on the Underground, it's time to buy”.
The British advertising regulator considered such a call “misleading”, as a result of which a decree was issued today demanding that Luno representatives immediately change the advertisement, or even remove it altogether. As a control measure, they were asked to post a note on the possible risks associated with investing in digital currencies.
The ASA investigated three consumer complaints that Luno's ads were partially “cheating” customers. The experts, in turn, also checked whether it was aimed at inexperienced consumers in order to protect them from manipulation by the company and possible financial losses.
