IOTA Foundation Opens Up Its Own Educational Institution — IOTA Academy
The world is rapidly changing, people are creating more and more new occupations to comprehend modern society. However, the majority of universities are unable to provide qualified education on blockchain specialists, crypto analysists, etc. Thus, the companies who created their own crypto or developed their own blockchain technology are those who feel gaps in the labor market more than anyone. The only way to find specialists is to create them by yourself. This is what the IOTA Foundation decided to do. The IOTA Foundation is launching its own educational institution called IOTA Academy. It will be based on the IOT1 Academy -- a tech academy based in Berlin and Shanghai. The Academy will train coders and developers, project managers, concepters, and c-level managers. All of them will have online access to the Academy’s educational materials, where they can be purchased. The students can earn an IOTA Developer Certification if they have completed a special assessment, including written and oral part, carried out by members of the IOTA Foundation. The Foundation said in the blog post:
“An investment into IOTA Education… will be of great benefit for corporates, engineers and developers.”
The IOTA Team believes that creating such an academy will have a great impact on adopting IOTA Network. Director of Partner Management at the IOTA Foundation, Holger Köther said:
“We believe [that] an investment into IOTA Education, as well as acquiring deep knowledge in short time, will be of great benefit for corporates, engineers and developers to actively shape the upcoming IoT, Machine-to-Machine ecosystems.”
