TIME akan bergabung dengan klub pemegang bitcoin
TIME intends to become one of the largest international companies holding Bitcoins. The magazine is working on the creation of a whole series of videos with training in cryptography. For them, the publication will receive payment in the equivalent of Bitcoins from the investment firm Grayscale.
Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenschein stated this in his Twitter account. The videos are going to be presented this summer, and the magazine itself does not plan to convert the received cryptocurrencies into the usual fiat, preferring to keep them in a Bitcoin wallet.
Now the publication is looking for a new CFO who understands cryptocurrencies. This suggests at least that it is unlikely that we will hear about the magazine for the last time in the context of cryptocurrencies. But it is not known what interests the representatives of the publication in the first place investments in Bitcoin or new experiments with NFT.
TIME has previously shown interest in digital currencies, putting up three issues of the magazine for sale as NFT tokens in March. Each of the issues contained a provocative cover with an inscription-question, but the most interesting for crypto enthusiasts was the issue with the question “Is Fiat Dead?”.
