Remote certification and notary services in the UAE will be provided with blockchain technology
DLT technology will reduce resources and time spent on document verification, certification and licensing. By the end of 2021, 50% of such services are planned to be carried out on the blockchain.
The innovation is being implemented as part of the deployment of the digital Government infrastructure. At the end of this undertaking, a digital identity card will be introduced in the country. This will make it easy to work with the system, receiving legal services remotely, even in remote areas.
In the future, the UAE plans to create a digital legal environment to attract high-tech companies, experts and stimulate innovation. To do this, the country has created a special committee for the development of DLT technologies, which includes 46 international companies.
