Google Starts to Sell its Titan Security Key in the International Market

Google is expanding the market for its physical security key Titan, and it is now available in France, Japan, the UK, and Canada. Note that Titan has been sold exclusively in the US market for more than a year and only now the company decided to enter the international market with this product.

The Google Titan Security Key is a physical security solution that provides hardware two-factor authentication for the FIDO standard (like competitors from Yubico and Feitian), allowing you to log in to multiple applications and browsers using the key. Titan can connect to a device that requires authentication in three ways – via USB, NFC or Bluetooth.

The key was basically developed for internal use by Google and was actively used by the company for more than a year, after which it became available to customers outside the company in July last year. The cost of the Titan security key is $50, the price will not be much different in other countries.
