Google announced the launch of Play Pass – a paid subscription to the selected catalog of applications and games. All content available within the subscription will be provided without ads or in-game purchases.
In total there are 350 games and applications for Android in the catalog, including Stardew Valley, Terraria, Monument Valley 2, AccuWeather, Shadow Fight 2 and others. Google promises to expand the Play Pass library every month. Subscribers will see a separate Play Pass tab inside the Google app store with recommendations and categorization.
The Google Play Pass is available only in the US so far, but soon the geography of the subscription will expand. The service will cost $4.99 per month, the first 10 days are free. It is possible to purchase a Play Pass for $1.99 per month for a period of one year, such an opportunity will last a limited time. You can share your subscription with up to five family members.
