Last Saturday the Latin American television channel Telesur TV reported that the Venezuelan authorities opened a center for training citizens to work with cryptocurrencies in the capital city of Caracas.
Not so long ago Venezuela acquired Petro cryptocurrency, supported by oil, and then opened a program aimed at increasing the knowledge of citizens about buying, selling, mining, as well as general facts about cryptocurrency. The cost of training is absolutely free, which can be explained by the desire of the authorities to increase the interest of residents in cryptocurrencies in general and in particular to the ICO of Petro.
The edition Routers conducted a video interview with the teacher of the training center Carmen Salvador in which the woman stated:
“What we hope to do with this, primarily, is to make knowledge accessible like any new methodology or technology”, she said.
Carmen added that the training course that they conduct for their citizens at the international level could cost from $500 to $700.
In his turn, the Venezuelan Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Hugbel Roa, shared information that the state approved the plan for the creation of student mining farms on the territory of the country’s universities.
