L'application Bitcoin ETF de VanEck retardée jusqu'en juin

The SEC today decided on the future of VanEck's Bitcoin ETF. Consideration of the application has been postponed until June

The SEC had 45 days to consider the application and the term expires on May 3. However, today the SEC decided that more time was needed to study the issue in detail.

The decision on Bitcoin-ETF involves making changes to the current legislation. So, you need to carefully consider the submitted application, the possible benefits of the launch and comments received from representatives of the cryptosphere.

Recall that the SEC within three months considers a total of eight filed applications for Bitcoin-ETF. The standard reasons for failure used earlier are the high volatility of Bitcoin and small capitalisation.

In 2021, the problem with low capitalisation was solved. The bitcoin market has exceeded $1 trillion in total. Companies from Wall Street are actively accumulating reserves of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin ETFs have been successfully launched and flourished in a number of countries.

Will the SEC, under the leadership of the newly appointed Gary Gensler, be able to authorise the first BTC ETF in the United States? We will find out the answer to this question very soon.
