Garlinghouse: seuls les États-Unis voient quelque chose dans XRP, mais pas la crypto-monnaie
The United States is the only country in the world that sees anything in Ripple tokens but not cryptocurrency. Brad Garlinghouse said this during a speech on one of the programs on CNBC.
The CEO of Ripple clarified that, unlike in Asia, the clarity of the wording in relation to the regulation of digital currencies in the United States so far "leaves much to be desired" and "disappoints" him. Although, at the same time, the CEO is pleased with how the lawsuit against the SEC is progressing today and that XRP is starting to return to the largest trading floors.
As an example, Garlinghouse mentioned several countries Singapore and South Korea, ahead of America in terms of cryptocurrency regulation. According to him, the authorities of these countries have made deliberate efforts to define and form a strict legislative framework for the crypto industry.
Garlinghouse noted that the cryptocurrency industry today needs to focus on utility and whether they can solve real customer problems. He also stressed that he believes in the United States and hopes that they will soon catch up with Asia on regulatory issues.
