Tesla Elon Musk a investi 1,5 milliard de dollars dans Bitcoin

The second week of February 2021 began extremely successfully for the main digital currency

Elon Musk, who had previously broken up the price of his favorite cryptocurrency Dogecoin with several tweets, taking Bitcoin seriously. As stated in his 10-K application for the US financial regulator SEC (Security Exchange Commission), Elon Musk's Tesla bought Bitcoin for $1.5 billion.

Standard warnings about risk and high volatility of digital assets have been added to the application. The decision to buy was approved by Tesla's Board of Directors. The BTC instantly reacted with a new ATH (all-time high), at around $44,000. This is an increase of more than 11% per day.

Tesla is also going to start accepting payments in Bitcoin for electric cars and other products. While this news is extremely important for the cryptocurrency market, more importantly, Tesla is going to "own digital assets, both short and long term."

This means that this news from Elon Musk is the first, and certainly not the last for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Elon Musk's Twitter, which has more than 46 million subscribers, has already become an important factor influencing the cryptocurrency market.

Tesla is not the only company to own a large amount of Bitcoin. However, all the major owners of BTC used to be involved in fintech. This is the first time in world history when a large production company paid attention to the main digital currency.
