Visa Partners with IBM to Implement Cross-Border Blockchain Payments of Hyperledger Fabric Framework
The news that the giant of the payment industry, Visa, decided to implement blockchain into its business services appeared in media long time ago. It plans to create a special worldwide blockchain platform for large-scale business transactions.
The launch of the blockchain services is appointed for the first quarter of 2019, yet Visa has already started integrating open-source blockchain code from Hyperledger Fabric. This action will help to improve the security and transparency in cross-border payments.
Visa B2B Connect and IBM became partners to carry out such an idea. Jason Kelly, a representative of IBM, stated:
“IBM Blockchain Platform and Hyperledger technology are delivering real business value today and B2B Connect is one of the most powerful examples to date of how blockchain is transforming payments.”We remind you https://thecoinshark.net/lg-uplus-releases-a-blockchain-cross-border-payment-system/ Subscribe to The Coin Shark news in Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coinshark
