LGT bank from Liechtenstein will offer crypto investments to its clients

One of the largest banks in Liechtenstein has announced a partnership with crypto platform SEBA to offer investments in BTC and ETH to its clients.

Representatives of LGT Bank wrote about this in the company's blog. The crypto asset purchase service will be available for users from Switzerland and Liechtenstein. All of them will be able to directly invest in digital assets in their personal account.

For now, only bitcoins or Ethereum can be purchased on the platform. Subsequently, if there is regulatory approval and demand from users, the bank plans to expand the number of digital assets available for purchase.

To buy a cryptocurrency, you need to select the asset of interest, pay the bill in fiat currency. After that, BTC and ETH coins will be added to the client's account.

The purchase of cryptocurrency will be completely legal, as SEBA has a license from the FINMA regulator. The company's blog also says that the SEBA platform will receive 280 billion Swiss francs in the management of the bank's funds.
