Facebook And Instagram Ban Cryptocurrency And ICO advertisement

New policy of the social networks Facebook and Instagram bans their use as platforms for advertising any products based on cryptocurrency, ICO or binaries. The company shared information about this ban.

New rules are implemented for the products and services that can be connected with fraud, such as ICO and cryptocurrency. They  now stand in one line with tobacco, illegal drugs, guns and porn.  

For now the ban covers maximum wide area of products (advertisement of any of the categories is banned). However, the list of products can be changed, if Facebook will be able to monitor fraudsters advertisements.

Facebook’s new policy also includes other platforms, such as Audience Network or Instagram.

At the beginning of the year Mark Zuckerberg had a post on Facebook,where he wrote about his interest in the studying of cryptocurrencies.
