Bittrex will delist anonymous coins
Monero, ZCash and Dash will be removed from the popular crypto exchange within two weeks. The reason for the delisting is the close attention of the regulators
Monero is private by default. Zcash and Dash have a privacy mode for monetary transactions. They cannot be tracked. This quality is successfully used by many scammers.
For example, we recently wrote that one of the darknet marketplaces switched exclusively to Monero because of its privacy features. The regulators are well aware of this.
The delisting will take place on January 15 at 23:00 UTC. In its statement, Bittrex refers to “changing regulatory standards” that make the use of anonymous cryptocurrencies illegal.
