Binance has suspended operations in Israel
Israeli regulators are reviewing the license of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, in connection with which the platform has temporarily suspended trading for Israeli users. Against the backdrop of this news, the exchange's own token began to become cheaper.
The increased focus on Binance is not new. The exchange is closely monitored by regulators from different countries, especially American ones. In 2021, with the filing of the SEC, an investigation was launched into the activities of the exchange. The exchange has also come under attack from British regulators.
Israeli colleagues are also closely watching the work of the platform. While the fate of Binance’s cryptocurrency license is being decided, the exchange has temporarily removed support for the Israeli language (Hebrew) and currency (Shekel), in accordance with the rules.
