Problems with the Infura project led to a failure in the Ethereum blockchain
Today, April 22, there was a massive failure in the Ethereum network. Many applications and the MetaMask wallet did not work.
The reason is the technical failure of the Infura project. It is a widely implemented infrastructure service used by many Dapps.
The issue was noticed at 13:43 UTC. A message appeared on the service page about a problem with the APIs that connect applications and services to the Ethereum network.
Wish we could say GM fam.

In addition to APIs that work directly with the blockchain itself, problems have also been fixed when connecting to scaling solutions and other projects. We are talking about Polygon, Filecoin, Optimism and several other projects.
The issue has not been fixed as of 15:08 UTC. The developers said they are working on a solution that should fix the situation. Full functionality, they say, should be restored after all components are operating normally.
