Ethereum Blockchain Will Keep the Peace Treaty Between South and North Korea

The peace treaty which was signed on the 27th of April between the leaders of the Republic of Korea and the DPRK will be transferred to the Ethereum blockchain.

According to the ССN, a 27-year-old game developer from South Korea, Ryu Gi-hyeok, is currently developing a code for the Panmunjom Treaty, which describes the terms of peace between the Republic of Korea and the DPRK. This contract will be presented in Korean and English and will be stored in two versions.

“Although I was not interested in politics, I was overwhelmed by watching the summit. I just thought it was too long for the South and the North to give each other one step and listen to each other,” Ryu told the publication, according to a rough translation. “After finding out what I could do as a developer, I found the Panmunjom Declaration from the Blue House homepage and recorded it on the Ethereum blockchain.”

We want to point out that the President of South Korea Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un confirmed the agreement on the peninsula last week. Such a meeting, where the main representatives of states shook hands, took place for the first time in the last ten years.
