Seems like the government of Uzbekistan paid attention to the cryptocurrency industry. The fact is that the National Agency for Project Management, which reports to the head of state, wants to create its own mining pool. As they say in the department, this is necessary to consolidate the capacities of foreign and local miners at the state level.
Miners who join this pool will have electricity benefits, which is a tempting offer for this type of activity. Representatives of the regulator believe this initiative will bring many miners out of the shadow, making the industry more transparent and safe.
This initiative is at the stage of interagency coordination at the moment, the project will be for all to see in a few days.
Besides, yesterday, Jan 20, Tashkent launched a licensed cryptocurrency trading platform, Uznex where miners will be able to trade mined digital assets. Recall earlier we wrote that Uzbekistan plans to legalize cryptocurrencies.
