Despite the fact that founders of blockchain projects Tron and Ethereum openly compete for the leadership in the field of decentralized applications they are now ready for joint cooperation.
Justin Sun, CEO of Tron, told about a probable partnership between Tron and Ethereum.
During a conversation with Rachel Wolfson on a podcast “The Crypto Chick” Justin Sun focused on the details of the coming launch of stablecoin Tether on the blockchain Tron. However, he also mentioned the prospects for cooperation with the leader of smart contracts Ethereum.
“First of all, everybody knows that Tron and Ethereum compete in the Dapp [sector], for sure. But I think definitely that this competition will result in a better product – the competition between Ethereum and Tron benefits the whole industry”, Sun stated.
Although Tron was originally launched on the Ethereum blockchain, in the middle of 2018 it switched to its own network. According to Sun, Tron’s blockchain is much faster, cheaper, and more scalable than Ethereum.
During the podcast, Justin also spoke about the USDT stablecoin on the Tron blockchain, which is scheduled to launch on April 9th.

“The stablecoin is the most important thing when we come to the infrastructure and the whole industry. I think in the future USDT will be a more reliable, faster and cheaper solution”, Sun added.
