American startup DJI has officially unveiled its new development – “pocket drone”, which literally fits in a hand. Due to design features, the device does not need to be registered with the US Federal Aviation Administration.
The developers of the miniature drone noted that buyers of the Mavic Mini would not need to pass bureaucratic procedures. The fact is that all flying devices from 250 gr must be registered with the FAA, while the new device weighs 249 gr.
The drone can fly for half an hour on one charge, its price will be 495 US dollars. The drone will be equipped with a camera with a resolution of 2.7K, this decision was made intentionally not to harm the sales of other products of the company.
