A study conducted by a journalist from The Block shows that the interest of US citizens in cryptocurrency is much higher than citizens of other states.
It was observed that the highest traffic on cryptocurrency exchanges comes precisely from the United States – 24.5% of the total volume.
Japan falls behind by 15%, while South Korea, Indonesia, and India close the top five. Together, these states generate about half of global traffic on exchanges.
It should be noted that the study does not take into account traffic data from countries that censor cryptocurrency activity by blocking it, for example, China. People from these regions have to change their IP address and country of origin using a VPN program.
When comparing the traffic of each country, it was found that the greatest interest is shown by the inhabitants of North America.
It is also reported that citizens of richer countries trade cryptocurrencies more actively.
