The new version of the mobile operating system Android Q will receive a new useful function – control of time spent in applications. This feature, called Digital Wellbeing, first appeared in the Android Pie OS version and was warmly accepted by users. This innovation provided detailed statistics on the time of use of a specific application. In order to control the time spent in a particular application, a timer could be set in the corresponding menu. If the user went beyond the set limit, the system blocked access to this application.
The new version of the operating system Android Q will open access to this function for third-party applications. As of now, the new version of Digital Wellbeing is at the testing level, so it is not yet available to ordinary users. It is worth noting that the developers plan to implement this feature directly in Pixel Launcher.
In any case, it is not long to wait, the official presentation of this operating system will take place in May at the annual conference for Google I/O developers.
