The Basher of Bitcoin and the Ex CEO of Starbucks Might Be Running for Presidency

Howard Schultz, the former chief executive officer of the famous coffee shop line Starbucks, might become another candidate for the president of the US in 2020 since he finds the situation in the country unacceptable and the two-party system “inefficient”.

If Shultz does run for presidency and if he succeeds, what will it mean for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general?

As for Bitcoin, here Schultz is not quite optimistic. He thinks that BTC will not be “a currency today or in the future”.

However, the future possible candidate for presidency is a big supporter of the blockchain technology. He even made a gentle hint that it might soon be incorporated in Starbucks.

“I think blockchain technology is the rails in which an integrated app at Starbucks will be sitting on top of,” he said.
