Swiss scientists from the Lausanne Federal Polytechnic School have invented a device that provides tactile communication between a person and a computer. As far as we know, artificial leather made of silicone and electrodes will help to feel what is happening in virtual reality.
The device uses a system of sensors that simulate touch. If you put it on your finger, you will feel the pressure and vibration, as if you touched a virtual object.
The technology was tested on the fingers of users and continues to improve. Scientists plan to create a sustainable prototype for rehabilitation purposes in the future.
