Oppo showed photos of a prototype of its new smartphone, which has an unusual display (the company called “waterfall screen”). Note that earlier, Oppo had already produced smartphones with a curved screen, for example, Find X. But this time, the sides of the display went even further, and now the screen is extended around the edges of the screen at 88 degrees. Сonsequently, the frames on the sides completely disappeared as well as the volume buttons.
Note that this device looks really fresh and interesting, but it’s not completely clear how comfortable it will be in a use, and if the extra screen area will be touch-sensitive during the work.
In addition, Oppo engineers still have to find a place for the power button and volume control on the body of the new device. But most likely, in the near future, we will see this design on one of the company’s new smartphones.
