At the moment, the search giant Google is working on its own messenger, the official launch of which will take place over the next few months, according to The Verge.
Google plans to “take over the world” with the release of new development, by poaching the users of other messengers, including WhatsApp and Telegram. The development is based on Android Messages, which allows working with SMS and MMS. The new Google’s creation will be free, and its feature and advantage over competitors will be the absence of the need to install additional applications. To get started you need only a SIM card with a network’s connection.
This is not the first attempt by Google to create a popular service for users to communicate, but so far all of its attempts have been unsuccessful. Neither Hangouts, nor Allo managed to become worthy competitors to existing messengers. But it seems that this time the company has revised its views on the online communication market, and has found a way out of this situation. Whether its efforts will be successful remains to be seen. In the meantime, WhatsApp, along with other messengers, continues to integrate new features into its services in order to delight users with novelties and retain leadership in the field of online communications.
