Facebook Unblocked Ads of Coinbase Crypto Exchange

The ban on advertising cryptocurrency, in particular, the exchange Coinbase was partially suspended in the social network Facebook. The first publication about this appeared in the users’ tape on July 22nd. The general director and co-founder of the platform, Brian Armstrong, was very pleased with this fact, as reported on his Twitter account:

Today, Coinbase is the only platform that conducts operations with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is definitely a big step for Coinbase, as it gained a big advantage over its competitors in this field. Facebook gave the exchange a possibility to reach the userbase of 2 billion users. Not to mention about the expansion of Coinbase, recently there was news that crypto exchange will open its market in Japan. Moreover, they are planning to add more cryptocurrencies to their base.

We would like to remind you that in 2018, Facebook began blocking advertising messages that mention cryptocurrency, and reported on the changeover to a “new policy” in the advertising of financial products associated with binary options and cryptocurrency.
