The network has the first leaks about the new virtual reality headset from Sony – PS VR 2. The work in the field of virtual reality has always been a priority for Sony. And now we can say with confidence that with the presentations of the new PS5 console, the company will also update the virtual reality helmet.
Sony representatives have already confirmed that their new game console will be compatible with the current PS VR equipment, but it is also clear that Sony has more ambitious plans for the development of this technology. The wave of recent patents and leaks makes it increasingly clear that the company is actually developing a new version of the helmet. According to the leak, the new helmet will cost $249. The headset will support a resolution of 2560×1440, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a viewing angle of 220 degrees, 5 hours of battery life, and also have eye-tracking technology. The second generation of the helmet will be wireless.
Another key feature mentioned in the patents is the new graphics rendering technology. The graphics processor should process what the player sees in front of him faster, which will make the gameplay smoother and more realistic.
