Brad Garlinghouse, the head of Ripple doesn`t reject the opportunity to enter the stock market. In his opinion, this is a natural evolution for his brainchild. He said this at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“In the next 12 months, you’ll see IPOs in the crypto/blockchain space. We’re not going to be the first and we’re not going to be the last, but I expect us to be on the leading side… it’s a natural evolution for our company.” –@bgarlinghouse at #WEF20

He believes, many crypto companies will carry an IPO in 2020 and Ripple may be one of them.
“We’re not going to be the first and we’re not going to be the last, but I expect us to be on the leading side”
Some members of the community believe that if the company becomes public, it will significantly affect the XRP token rate.
“If xrp community understood what this meant they would be stricken with joy right now. IPO means institutional investors putting money in Ripple and betting on Ripple’s value as a company -> what is the most valuable asset that Ripple has? Yeap, this will be a huge deal for XRP,” one of Twitter user wrote.
“You will not pay with Bitcoin at Starbucks as your coffee will be cold by the time you get it,” CEO of Ripple emphasized.
Recall earlier we wrote that the head of Ripple believes that almost all cryptocurrencies will cease to exist in the coming years.
