As of this writing, the rate of the first cryptocurrency is $8532. If you look at the five-month chart, you can see that the asset has fallen in price by almost 40%.
Bitcoin reached its peak in 2019 at the end of June, when its rate approached $13,800. In the summer, the vast majority of market participants believed that parabolic growth began. Various experts gave their optimistic forecasts: they said that the BTC rate will soon exceed the previous historical maximum and will go to conquer new peaks.
But, unfortunately, instead of growth, we can see a rather tangible drop, which may not have ended. In recent days, there has been a lull in the market and no one knows when it will break.
