President Zhao Ming announced that the Honor V30 with 5G will be released next month. Ming did not name a specific date in November but said that the phone will support Stand Alone and Non-Stand Alone modes, and hinted that this phone will be aimed at a young audience.
Rumor is the Honor V30 Pro will become a 5G model in the lineup. It will use the Kirin 990 5G chipset, equipped with a built-in modem. The phone will have a 60-megapixel camera on the back and an OLED screen with two openings on the front.
Note that none of the V30 models will be able to use the Google Play services. This is a deterrent from launching outside of China.
