DPRK Hackers Steal Cryptocurrency From Telegram Users
One of the hacker groups, called Lazarus, which has a direct connection with the North Korean government, has developed a virus to steal cryptocurrency from Telegram messenger users - Kaspersky Lab experts reported on their official Twitter. https://twitter.com/kaspersky/status/1214879444332138496 Attackers created fake channels of cryptocurrency startups in Telegram and distributed their malware there. As of this writing, cases of infection with this virus have already been detected in the Russian Federation, China, Great Britain, and Poland. Hackers of this group also updated viruses for the two most popular desktop operating systems, Windows and macOS. So be careful and think twice before downloading any content from unverified sources.
