Chainalysis Leader führt FinCEN an
One of Chainalysis' executives, technical adviser Michael Mosier, will replace Kenneth Blanco, Director of the Financial Crimes Agency (FinCEN).
This was announced today by Blanco himself, speaking about several replacements in senior positions in the state structure. The current Ceo of FinCEN will leave his post on April 9, and Mozier will take office on April 11.
After working at Chainalysis, Mozier spent several years at FinCEN in various positions. He also went to the U.S. Department of Justice and worked in other government agencies.
Since the arrival of President Biden, there has been a trend of replacing conservative cadres among US government officials. They are being replaced by people who are more knowledgeable in digital currencies like Gary Gensler, an MIT professor and former CFTC chairman.
This will be an excellent course for positive changes in the complex relations of the American establishment and cryptocurrencies.
