Bakkt brachte eine mobile Krypto-Brieftasche auf den Markt
Bakkt has introduced a mobile crypto wallet app that will help customers manage their digital currencies, gift cards and bonus points.
The uniqueness of the application lies in the fact that users will be able to distill bonus points and gift certificates of various chain cafes and stores into cash. Or use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. Bakkt stressed that the average consumer often has bonus points or participates in retail loyalty programs, but he still does not have a tool to track the value of these "virtual units."
Starbucks fans will be able to top up their Starbucks Card through the coffee chain's official app, and then convert loyalty points, gift cards and rewards into U.S. dollars using the Bakkt app. The app will also be useful for customers of Best Buy hypermarkets, Goodice Hotels, Fiserv and GolfNow service.
Next year, the company intends to attract 18 million users, and by 2025 to break the mark of 30 million active customers. By then, Bakkt estimates that their total revenue could reach $500 million and with an operating profit of $196 million.
According to the team, the app was tested by more than 500,000 customers, taking part in early access by invitation. And today it can be downloaded in AppStore and Google Play.
